I/O Summit Returns to Lincoln

The Midwest has quickly become the “Silicon Prairie” for startup activity. We believe this comes from the collaborative spirit of our business community.

The Angelou Report clearly pointed to entrepreneurial initiatives and promotion as a priority for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development. The report detailed a clear road map on how to grow our community in the coming decades. At the forefront of the report was an emphasis on workforce development, community identity and technology. More specifically, the report suggested Lincoln make a name for itself as the host of the Midwest region’s best technology conference.

We think we have delivered on that goal with the second annual Inside/Outside Innovation Summit. Hosted by the Inside/Outside Innovation podcast and NXXT, Inc., the I/O Summit will bring together over 500 innovators for a two-day national conference at The Graduate Hotel in Lincoln from May 29-31.

Attendees will have a front-row seat to engage with new startups, new technologies, new business models and new talent from around the world.

High-growth startup companies, corporate entrepreneurs and community leaders will also come together, to collide, learn and interact with the latest innovation trends and talent in the Midwest.

Highlights for startups include:

$100,000 investment pitch competition

$25,000 LNK Launch Grant competition provided by the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development

Startup Showcase highlighting over 40 Seed/Series A startups

Curated matchmaking for startups, enterprises and investors
