Lincoln Civic Orchestra Hosts NWU Senior Soloist Performance

Lincoln Civic Orchestra presents “The British Empire” featuring Nebraska Wesleyan University Soloists Andrew Seuferer, Tenor, and Julia Gomez, Soprano.
The performance will be held on Sunday, February 26 at 4pm at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Rogers Center for Fine Arts, O’Donnell Auditorium, 50th & Huntington Streets in Lincoln.
Selections of the performance include:
  • Imperial March, op. 32 by Elgar
  • English Folk Song Suite by Vaughan Williams
  • Spirito Gentil, from La Favorita by Donizetti
  • Je suis encor etourdie, from Manon by Massenet
  • On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring by Delius
  • Harry Potter Symphonic Suite by Williams
The performance is free to the public and includes a reception after the performance.
About Lincoln Civic Orchestra
The Lincoln Civic Orchestra is a symphonic orchestra comprised of community musicians from around the Lincoln, Nebraska, area. Formed in 1977 on the campus of Union College, the Lincoln Civic Orchestra became the resident orchestra at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1987. The ensemble regularly performs on the Nebraska Wesleyan campus and travels to other communities with concert presentations.
