A 93 year-old family business legacy continued its evolution today, as All Makes Office Equipment Co. announced that Gretchen Golter, Design Director has been appointed to Vice President/ Design Director.

As Vice President/Design Director, Golter will continue to manage the All Makes design teams, leading the efforts of all specification support required by clients and designers.

Golter has extensive, broad-based senior level management experience including 25 years in the office furniture industry.  She has significant knowledge in the design and building industry and has designed projects in over 20 states.  Golter is LEED accredited, has been NCIDQ certified since 1986 and holds a degree in Design from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

All Makes Office Equipment Co. first opened in Omaha in 1918 as All Makes Typewriter Co. Founder Harry Ferer built the family business offering quality manual typewriters and adding machines. But as technology has evolved, All Makes has changed to meet the needs of its customers.  Today, All Makes is a fourth generation, family owned business and is one of the Midwest’s largest office furniture dealers with customers in all 50 states as well as several foreign countries.  All Makes has showrooms in Omaha and Lincoln, NE and branch operations in Urbandale, IA.
