Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar Brings New Life to the Neighborhood With Old Cheney Restaurant Remodel

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar (www.applebees.com) showcased its newly remodeled property with the official re-opening of the Old Cheney location at 3730 Village Drive on September 15th.  In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the Applebee’s staff served up a new look and feel.

On the menu: A remodeled interior with warmer color tones and contemporary design, features specific to the neighborhood the restaurant serves, service improvements, and new food and drink selections with the same great prices. With a complete bar remodel, the Old Cheney location has increased its draft beer line up with local options and added four wine draft options.

The most noticeable changes at the revitalized Old Cheney restaurant include removing the pop-culture artifacts and added local photos and murals. Wall images also depict area school sports teams, and local community groups and organizations giving the restaurant a distinctly neighborhood feel.
As part of the remodel process, before bringing in the new artwork, Applebee’s was able to auction off the older décor and memorabilia. The location is proud to announce raising $1875 to be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Old Cheney Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar (www.applebees.com) is owned and operated by RMH Franchise Corporation, based out of Lincoln, NE.
