Cornhusker Bank hosted Lincoln Chamber of Commerce’s ribbon cutting event to celebrate the completion of remodeling at its 5555 South Street Branch location on September 6th. Paul Miloni, Director of Membership for the Chamber, noted the major remodeling work represented Cornhusker Bank’s continued “investment into Lincoln”. The remodeling included a complete exterior building update as well as changes to the main entrance and interior office and décor changes.

Cornhusker Bank’s South Street location houses its Mortgage Lending department. The mortgage lending area of the bank has seen continued growth with the ability to retain local servicing on mortgages.  According to Barry Lockard, President of Cornhusker Bank, “This update of facilities helps enhance our customers’ experience and helps fulfill the bank’s commitment to Lincoln’s growth and image.”

Cornhusker Bank remains Lincoln’s oldest locally owned bank, demonstrating stability, soundness, and continued commitment to the success of its valued customers and employees.
