John Barber, President of Decision Logic, a leading provider of restaurant software solutions, helped provide feedback and evaluation for improvement of University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) computer science students’ competition-based software projects. The competition, Trade King Campus Challenge, offers cash prizes for teams of college students who develop the best investment focused applications.

Barber was part of a panel of business professionals with a special focus on innovative technologies who met to evaluate the students’ projects before making their final submissions. The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management sponsored the meeting. Students were asked to give presentations and explain their projects and each panel member evaluated the work and offered suggestions for improvement.
