Guardian Angels Launches New Radio Program

Guardian Angels (guardian-angels.us) is launching a weekly radio program on KFOR, “Aging with Dignity.” This weekly 30-minute program will air Sunday mornings at 8:30 am. A variety of topics of interest to elders, and those who care for them, will be discussed by experts in their field. “We chose the name ‘Aging with Dignity’ because we believe that every person has an inherent dignity that age does not take away,” according to director Kris Beckenbach. “Guardian Angels exists to help seniors live confidently and age gracefully in their homes for as long as possible. Each guest will bring a unique perspective to helping people achieve those goals.”

The first show aired Sunday, June 18 with a discussion about the impact of fathers in our lives. Future guests will include Beth Friesen owner of Oasis Senior Advisors, Becky Huebner with Nebraska Home Sales, Ramzi Hynek of Rembolt Ludtke explaining guardianship and conservatorship, Natalie Leon with the Alzheimer’s Association, Becca Henry from Horisun Hospice, and Andrew Loudon of Baylor Evnen on estate planning.

Please tune in Sunday mornings at 8:30 to 1240 AM or 103.3 FM or look for the podcast on Guardian Angels Facebook page. Contact Kris at (402) 474-4000 about being a guest or sponsor of Aging with Dignity.
