Hospice Community Care of Nebraska recently announced that it has once again earned The Joint Commission Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care.

Hospice Community Care of Nebraska underwent a rigorous on-site survey in December 2014. During the survey, compliance with hospice standards were evaluated including the provision of care, treatment and services, emergency management, human resources, individual rights and responsibilities, and leadership.  On-site visits with patients receiving care and their staff members were also evaluated.
The Joint Commission (www.jointcommission.org) supports the efforts of its accredited organizations to help deliver safe, high quality care and services by holding them accountable to the highest standards.  Hospice Community Care of Nebraska has maintained accreditation since 2012.
