Hospice Community Care of Nebraska Declares Winners of 1st Annual Christmas Tree Challenge

Hospice Community Care of Nebraska (www.hospicecarenebraska.com) is proud to announce the winners of the inaugural “Christmas Tree Challenge.”  First place goes to Emerald Communities Independence House at Northview! High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center placed second and The Lexington Assisted Living Center placed third.  A special thank you goes out to the judges for making the difficult winning selections: Sunlight Support Senior Care Solutions, Home Care Assistance, Home Instead Senior Care and Personal Health Care Services.

Ten Lincoln assisted living communities took the challenge of trimming a small tree however they liked.  The only rule was to incorporate the Hospice Community Care logo.  The Christmas Tree Challenge, now set to become an annual event, was excitedly received and made for a fun and festive contest for facility staff.  The trees were collected the week of Christmas and presented to patients of Hospice Community Care.

Hospice Community Care of Nebraska seeks to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families who are facing a life limiting illness. It is the expectation of Hospice Community Care that all employees and volunteers are strongly committed to the dignity and worth of each individual human being.
