Looking to continue providing a platform for passionate and unique voices, Ignite Lincoln is coming back Thursday, January 26 with another series of amusing, rapid-fire, five-minute presentations. Ignite Lincoln will again bring the community enlightened local entertainment.
The event organizers are currently calling for presentation submissions from speakers of all backgrounds who have a 5-minute talk that will inspire, teach, make people think, or make them laugh. Prospective speakers are invited to submit their presentation outlines at Ignite Lincoln’s website, http://ignitelincoln.org. Approximately 16 speakers will be selected to give their talk on stage at the Bourbon Theatre, downtown.
The Ignite format consists of giving each presenter 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds following the motto of “enlighten us, but make it quick.” Selected speakers will include entrepreneurs, technologists, do-it-yourselfers, creative professionals, and enthusiastic knowledge-seekers.
The event will take place at the Bourbon Theatre, 1415 O Street, from 7 to 9 p.m. on January 26, 2012. Limited early-bird tickets will be free and reserve a seat before the show.
