Piedmont Shopping Center recently hosted a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with a groundbreaking ceremony which marked the start of the $2 million renovation of the shopping center. Both events were held together on Tuesday, March 18th. Attendees included Mayor Chris Beutler; Lincoln City Council Member, Jon Camp; City of Lincoln Urban Development Director, David Landis; Architects Etc., Cristy Joy; Attorney, Mark Hunzeker; Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Kurt Hesser and Kathy Hale.

Glenn purchased Lincoln’s oldest shopping center with the intention of bringing it back to its original glory.  Steve and his partners are investing over $2 million to make Piedmont a family friendly place for Lincoln to enjoy. Renovation plans include creating more park areas, beautiful landscaping, more convenient parking, wider sidewalks, better lighting and an aesthetically pleasing facade.
