Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is collecting unused cell phones at their Lincoln locations that will be recycled to produce calling cards for troops serving abroad and help them stay connected with friends and family back home while away on duty.  In appreciation, Lincolnites will receive a free meal with purchase offer when a phone is donated during the month of April.  In addition, support can be given by adding any dollar amount to a food purchase until April 30th.

The Lincoln Raising Cane’s franchise is partnering with Cell Phones for Soldiers for its 6th straight year.  In 2013, over 33,000 minutes were donated to Nebraska military families; however, with the recent addition of their third store at 28th and Cornhusker, they think it’s certainly possible to break all past records in 2014.  All donations will be given to the Nebraska National Guard at a future date.  For more information about the Cell Phones for Soldiers campaign, please visit www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com.

Raising Cane’s has one love—chicken fingers—and focuses its menu on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers paired with their homemade Cane’s sauce, grilled Texas Toast brushed with garlic butter, creamy coleslaw and crinkle-cut French fries.  For more information about Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, please visit www.raisingcanes.com or www.facebook.com/CanesNebraska.
