Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is partnering with KLKN’s Channel 8 and Latsch’s for its 5th Annual “Stuff the Bus” promotion. Since 2009, local owners Justin & Jennifer Jones have been able to raise thousands of school supplies for children in need throughout Lincoln schools. They strive to make an impact on those underprivileged children by helping provide supplies much needed during their impressionable years. With the partnerships with KLKN and Latsch’s, they intend to raise enough school supplies to assure these children have the needed supplies to assist with their education.
Anyone interested in participating is asked to bring new and packaged school supplies to the Lincoln Raising Cane’s locations at 48th & R or 14th & P from July 22nd through August 7th. Any person providing a school supply donation will receive a free 21oz Hand Squeezed Lemonade! Customers can also support this cause by adding any dollar amount to their check when placing their orders at the register.
Raising Cane’s has one love — chicken fingers — and focuses its menu offering on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers paired with their homemade Cane’s sauce, grilled Texas Toast brushed with garlic butter, creamy Cole slaw and crinkle-cut French fries. Since opening their first location in 2006, owners Justin and Jennifer Jones have set out to make a change in their community by becoming active community leaders with programs such as this one.
