Smoking Gun Jerky was recently recognized by the Nebraska National Guard, 2-135th General Support Aviation Battalion, for their support in “Dirty Dustoff Operation New Dawn Iraq Deployment”. Captain Daniel Smith presented owner Dave Ferguson with a Certificate of Appreciation, commemorative coin, Minute Man statue and a U.S. flag which was carried on a combat medical mission over Northern Iraq. Smoking Gun Jerky matched donations from customers and over 250 bags of jerky were sent to our Nebraska troops while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Recently, Smoking Gun also collected jerky donations in our “Operation Firefighter” to send to emergency personnel in North Central Nebraska during the wild fires.
