Thousands of Coats Collected by Raising Cane’s Given to Those in Need

With the help of the Lincoln community, Raising Cane’s (raisingcanes.com) collected over 2,500 new and gently used coats for the People’s City Mission and The Help Center. Beginning on November 7, shelter residents had the opportunity to pick out a coat to keep them warm during this winter season. All remaining coats were made available to the public beginning on November 8 at The Help Center.

Since 2007, supporters have helped donate nearly 18,000 coats to the People’s City Mission. “The generosity of the Lincoln community is truly amazing.” said Jennifer Jones, co-owner of the Lincoln Raising Cane’s franchise. “Thank you to everyone for their support. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you.”
