As of March 1, Union Bank & Trust is the exclusive bank serving the University of Nebraska—Lincoln (UNL).  A new Union Bank (UBT) branch opened inside the City Campus Union on Monday, March 2.  The branch is located in a newly designed space on the north side of the Union.  Union Bank replaces Wells Fargo as the exclusive bank on UNL’s City and East campuses.

The branch offers a casual, interactive design equipped with new technology to provide the UNL community choices in how they wish to conduct and manage their banking services. Bank customers may choose to work directly with a personal banker, use an interactive ATM for core transactions, or elect to open their account at the self-service counter featuring electronic tablets.

In addition to the new branch, eight UBT ATMs are conveniently location across campus as well as a self-service center at the East Campus Union.  The East Campus self-service center offers an interactive ATM that connects via video to personal bankers at the Bank’s Lincoln-based Call Center, a touch screen kiosk for account information and account opening, and message board.

The Bank is also offering the UNL community a Resource Bank to connect bank experts with faculty, classrooms and organizations and the UCrew team of employees providing financial literacy and money management tips. UBT is also funding $20,000 annually to support student organizations and activities. Coordinated with UNL’s Student Involvement Office, the Bank and the Office of Student Affairs will identify programs or events to fund.
