Cause for Paws is pleased to announce they will hold their Purses with a Purpose fundraiser on Thursday, October 6th from 7-8:30 pm at Misty’s Havelock Restaurant.
They will have 50 brand name and designer handbags to raffle at the event. For $25, participants receive Misty’s hors d’oeuvres, one drink ticket and 10 raffle tickets (additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the door). Tickets must be purchased in advance at Cause for Paws.
Cause for Paws is a 501 c 3 Re-Sale store that carries women’s, juniors and soon men’s clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, household items and decor and pet products. All items from their store are donated and workers are volunteers. At the end of the month after all of their bills are paid, 100% of their proceeds support local and Nebraska animal charities such as Hearts United, Capitol Humane Society, The Cat House, Dogs Deserve Better, Golden Retriever Rescue, Big Dog-Huge Paws, The Lincoln Animal Ambassadors and the Nebraska Wildlife Rescue to name a few. To date (2 1/2 yrs. after opening) over $100,000 has been donated so far.
