Clinic with a Heart is celebrating its eighth year of providing free clinics in the community with their Rx (prescription) For Hope Fundraiser, April 15, 2011. This year’s event will be at the Country Club of Lincoln. Holly Ostergard is their 2011 RX for Hope Honorary Chair with Dr. Rob Rhodes as Master of Ceremony. The event starts at 5:45 p.m. and includes a meal, silent and live auctions as well as a program and entertainment. Tickets may be reserved by calling 402-421-2924. Cost of a ticket is $60.
Free evening clinics are offered the first four Tuesdays and the first four Thursdays of each month. Services include Medical, Dental, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Cardio-Vascular Screening, Vision and Mental Health. Nearly 600 people volunteer to provide this service to the community. In 2010 Clinic with a Heart served more than 2000 people.
