Liberty First Credit Union is a participant in the Lincoln Chapter of Credit Unions Scholarship Contest. The Scholarships are open to high school seniors and college or trade school students who will be either full or part-time students for the academic year 2011/2012. All applicants must be a member of a participating credit union.

“Growing up with my credit union. How credit unions serve members at various stages of their lives” is the 500-word essay topic. All entries will be judged on accurate credit union content, originality, and grammar. Entries must be postmarked or received by: Friday, March 18, 2011 and winners will be notified by phone or via mail. Scholarship prize money is First Place: $1500.00; Second Place: $900.00 and Third Place: $650.00.
