High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center is very pleased to announce that they will host their first annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 18!  The children and grandchildren of the residents, members of the World of Knowledge Daycare and members of the public are invited to attend this inaugural event.  Attendees will get an opportunity to fill their Easter baskets early and even meet the Easter Bunny, who will make an appearance!  Afterwards, refreshments will be served.  Please mark your calendars so you will not miss this chance for an early Easter.

At High Plains, they understand that caring for a loved one with some form of dementia is a difficult and challenging experience. Furthermore, they understand that the decision to place a loved one in the care of others is perhaps the most difficult decision you will ever make. High Plains strives to provide a warm, caring and supportive environment where residents can experience daily routines and familiar faces, and their programs are designed to add meaning and value to their lives and to help them feel safe and secure.
