Homestead Rehabilitation Center Earns A+ in Resident Satisfaction

Homestead Rehabilitation Center (www.HomesteadRehab.com), nationally recognized for quality, reported a 100 percent Resident Satisfaction Rate among individuals receiving short-term and long-term health services. The national average is 82.7 percent. Homestead Rehabilitation contracted with Pinnacle Quality Insight Group in 2014 to better measure the results of quality initiatives implemented throughout the year. The criteria Pinnacle Group surveys residents about includes nursing care, dining service, quality of food, laundry service, response to problems, activities and communication from the facility. Pinnacle Group contacts responsible parties and residents each month who are utilizing their Medicare A, managed care or commercial insurance benefit as a result of a recent hospitalization (from an unexpected illness) or post-operative discharge from a hospital. Over 1,200 skilled nursing facilities in the nation participate in this program.

“These Pinnacle Quality Insight results and the 2014 Quality Award are key indicators of Homestead Rehabilitation’s commitment and achievements in quality improvements,” said Administrator Matt Romshek. “The recent results and our ongoing quality initiatives will help us reach the next level in excellent care.”

Homestead Rehabilitation Center offers short-stay rehabilitation, extended care, memory support, respite and end-of-life care. Homestead is open for admissions and therapy seven days a week and accepts Medicare/Medicaid, VA, managed care and insurance.
