Jessica Wilcox, RN of Lancaster Rehabilitation Center Receives Champion of Care Award

On September 30, Jessica Wilcox, RN, STR Nurse Manager at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln (www.lancasterrc.com) received the 2015 Champion of Care Award from the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association (NNFA). The award was presented to Wilcox at the association’s Fall Convention in La Vista, NE for providing outstanding resident care. Jessica was nominated by Amy Fish, Administrator at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center.

“Jessica leads by example. She is available to her team and is a role model of the customer service excellence we expect from team members. She will take whatever time necessary to listen to the concerns and questions from patients, family members and staff, and respond in her genuine, compassionate way,” said Amy Fish, Administrator at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center.

More than 900 nursing and assisted living facility owners, administrators, staff, and vendors participated in the four-day convention.
