The Lincoln Animal Ambassadors Pet Food Bank now has a permanent home in The Cat House.  This provides climate controlled space for the temporary pet food assistance program that is now available twice a week for recipients to come directly the site and pick up their pet food after scheduling an appointment.

The Pet Food Bank has grown by leaps and bounds in the last year. An average of 2,200 pounds of dry pet food per month is distributed to needy companion animals and their people.   The Pet Food Bank is supplied completely by donations. With these large disbursements each month, the Pet Food Bank is always looking for pet food and litter donations to be able to continue to help Lincoln’s companion animals and their people.

If you would like to become a “Friend of the LAA Pet Food Bank” you can leave your donations at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 2325 S. 24th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, or mail your financial donation to: Lincoln Animal Ambassadors P.O. Box 67072 Lincoln, NE 68506.
