LOC congratulates Nick Anderson for earning his Professional in Human Resources certification in December.
Preparation for PHR certification is extensive. It requires many hours of studying prior to taking the exam. Nick participated in a study group that Lincoln Human Resource Management Association (LHRMA) organized. They met once a week for 13 weeks. When it concluded he studied daily until sitting for the exam.
The test is comprised of 255 multiple choice questions and must be completed in four hours. It focuses on six specific areas: Strategic Management, Workforce Planning and Employment, HR Development, Total Rewards, Employee and Labor Relations and Risk Management.
Nick Anderson joined Lincoln Orthopaedic Center in 2005 after graduating with his Business Management degree from UNL.
