David Schaefer of Lincoln has founded a new book reading club called Readers are Leaders Book Club of Lincoln. The club is for individuals who are striving to create a higher awareness of self development and personal growth within themselves. The mission statement for the club is: To provide like minds an open forum for the exchange of ideas and encourage growing our knowledge in self-development.
Dave realized that the way he always found his next book to read was by someone recommending it. He also found that he loved to have conversations with people who were reading any kind of book or listening to CDs on personal self development.
The club meets once a month on the first Thursday of the month over the lunch hour from 12:00-1:00. Only 15 people are allowed per group setting to allow for time so that everybody has a chance to share their likes, dislikes and what they have learned from the book they are currently reading. You are allowed to read any book as long as it is a self development book or CD.
