Be sure to mark your calendar now for Voices of Hope’s 3nd annual “Music in the Vines” fundraiser on Sunday, September 9, 2012. This popular event, which will once again be held at the Prairie View Vineyard just east of Lincoln, features music by various local musicians, food from the Lodge at Wilderness Ridge Restaurant, and wine from Deer Springs Winery.

The music will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 9th with music by Jon Sundermeier, followed by bluegrass band Lye Soap at 3 p.m., singer/songwriter Ryan Payton at 4 p.m, and the popular bluegrass band Toasted Ponies from 5 – 7 p.m.

Admission for the music festival is a minimum suggested donation of $15 per person. Food and wine are available at additional costs. Bring your own lawn chair, blanket or even tailgating tent for this outdoor event. Prairie View Vineyard is located 3.5 miles east of the intersection of 148th St. and Old Cheney, near Eagle, Nebraska. It is approximately 7 miles east of Lincoln.  In case of rain, the back-up location is the Lancaster County Event Center Lincoln Room.
