Astronaut Clayton C. Anderson will serve as the speaker at the Lincoln TeamMates Recognition Events. This annual event presented by Lincoln TeamMates serves to recognize the contributions and achievements of Lincoln TeamMates mentors, mentees and community partners. The recognition luncheon will be held Thursday, January 26th from noon to 1:30 pm and recognition dinner for mentors and mentees will be Thursday, January 26th from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Great Hall of Lincoln station on 201 N. 7th.
Community members and leaders are invited to enjoy Anderson’s presentation and champion a great cause by attending the Lincoln TeamMates Recognition Luncheon. The annual signature event luncheon also features community awards and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event go to support the more than 800 student/mentor matches.
Awards include the Carmen and Tony Messineo Community Involvement Award which provides recognition of the commendable contributions of individuals or organizations to TeamMates and their community at-large. Community members are invited to nominate an individual, business or organization to receive this award. Nominations are requested by December 13th and may be completed online at www.lincolnteammates.org.
