CenterPointe is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 10th from 1:30-3 p.m. at their Administrative offices, located at 2633 P Street.  Celebration of CenterPointe’s 40th anniversary will continue throughout the year culminating in a Gala Event on October 15th.  This event will feature Senator Jeff Fortenberry and former Senator Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kennedy, as well as presentation of the Shining Star Award recognizing success in recovery to Anthony Steeles.

CenterPointe is a private non-profit helping people with mental health and substance use issues live healthier, more productive lives. Beginning with just a few programs, CenterPointe innovated and grew over time to become local and national leaders in treating mental illness and addiction. Today, CenterPointe provides more than 20 different programs for homeless and near homeless people in the areas of: residential and outpatient treatment, rehabilitation, community support, and housing. More than 150 homeless people living with mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and addiction access safe, affordable housing through CenterPointe programs.
