Friendship Home Reveals Summer Needs

With the weather getting warmer and school quickly coming to a close, the needs at the Friendship Home (www.friendshiphome.org) are changing. During the summer months, the families Friendship Home serves are able to spend more time together and more time outdoors. It is the hope of Friendship Home that these families are able to fully enjoy their summers and time together, and in doing so, they are reaching out to the community to make that happen.

Some of the summer needs include but aren’t limited to: sunscreen, bug spray, outdoor games, beach towels and water balloons. Along with these items, Friendship Home’s summer needs also include things that families can go experience and have fun doing together. This can be in the form of gift cards to miniature golf, bowling, Champions Fun Center, pool passes and Defy Gravity. Whatever your family likes doing together in the summer, the families at Friendship Home would enjoy and appreciate as well.

Friendship Home is a place where survivors of domestic violence can find safety and rebuild their lives. For further information about donating, visit www.friendshiphome.org or call (402) 434-0166.
