Safe Quarters is a one-day, community-wide effort to raise funds and awareness for victims of domestic violence. On October 12, 2014, hundreds of volunteers will canvass the city knocking on the door of each and every household to request support. Last year, over $110,000 was raised.

Friendship Home is seeking teams of volunteers to walk throughout Lincoln on October 12th collecting financial contributions to provide the families seeking shelter at Friendship Home with “safe quarters”. A team generally consists of 8-10 members.

To register a team, visit www.friendshiphome.org and click on the Safe Quarters tab. For questions and/or more information about Safe Quarters, contact Lauren at laurenp@friendshiphome.org or 402-434-0167.
