Over 75 HBAL members, their friends and family attended the 23rd Santa Cop Project on November 12. Two tool boxes were auctioned off at the Santa Cop Auction the following weekend while the rest were given to the Center for People in Need.
Those who attended made 71 boxes with wooden builders blocks and added coloring books and crayons to each box. In addition, there were 50 cedar blocks and 130 play dough ornaments that were decorated by the kids in attendance and given to local nursing homes. This year was HBAL’s 23rd project and they have given over 1,600 wooden gifts to children in the community.
