JDRF Partners With Dino’s Restaurant for “Good Cause Program”

During the months of June and July, JDRF Lincoln and Greater Nebraska (www.jdrf.org) is proud to partner with Dino’s restaurant, located at 2901 S. 84th St., as a part of their “Good Cause Program.” Beginning June 1, Dino’s will feature two menu items where a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to JDRF. In addition, patrons will have the opportunity to make a contribution towards type 1 diabetes (T1D) research when paying their bill.

T1D is an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. And, at present, there is no cure. JDRF works every day to change the reality of this disease for millions of people—and to prevent anyone else from ever knowing it—by funding research, advocating for government support of research and new therapies, ensuring new therapies come to market and connecting and engaging those impacted by T1D.

JDRF would like to thank Dino’s for their generous support! The dedication of the local community not only brings them closer to a cure, but also provides the opportunity for their chapter staff and volunteers to aid the approximate 6,500 Nebraskans and their families living with T1D, providing support, education, and connection. JDRF is here to help every step of the way! Learn more at www.jdrf.org.
