Junior Achievement Announces 2017-18 Scholarship Winners

On April 18, Junior Achievement (JA) of Lincoln (www.jalincoln.org) presented several scholarships ranging from $250-$1,000 to Lincoln students who are on their way to college. It’s no secret that paying for college is getting tougher all the time, and each year JA provides scholarships to make it a little easier for some of the best and brightest students here in our community.

In order to be eligible, students had to be graduating from high school in the top 50% of their class and were either a past or present participant in any JA class in their high school, the JA Spark program, or the JA Stock Market Challenge. Each student also had to complete a 500-word personal essay about what it takes to be a successful CEO in today’s economy.

Congratulations to this year’s winners!
