Team registration is now open for the first annual Farmer’s Market Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, August 23 in Lincoln Haymarket’s Farmer’s Market.  The event benefits Teach a Kid to Fish, a local nonprofit whose mission is to prevent childhood obesity. For an entry fee of $750, a corporate team of four adults can compete in the scavenger hunt. The baskets of ingredients collected by Corporate Teams will be raffled off to the public after the scavenger hunt. Family Teams are another option and must consist of four family members or friends with a minimum of one adult (18 or older) and one child (16 or younger).  The first family team to cross the finish line with all qualifying mystery ingredients will win a grand prize.  The public is also invited to visit the Scavenger Hunt booth on the corner of Canopy and P Streets just west of the Lincoln Train Station.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis and space is limited. For more information on registering a Family or Corporate Team, or to learn more about how Teach a Kid to Fish is “energizing the movement to prevent childhood obesity” in Lincoln, visit www.teachakidtofish.org.
