New York Life agents were on hand November 7th to celebrate National Children’s Grief Awareness Day and to present a check to Mourning Hope for $10,000. November marks Mourning Hope Grief Center’s 18th year of offering hope and healing to grieving youth in the Lincoln community.
Since 2008, the New York Life Foundation has awarded more than $7 million to support its Childhood Bereavement initiative. Mourning Hope is one of 21 bereavement providers in 16 states that recently received funding from the New York Life Foundation as part of a national effort to help expand grief support services to diverse and disadvantaged youth across the country.
