In preparation for the recent grand opening of the third Raising Cane’s at 28th & Cornhusker Highway, a Friends and Family event was held on February 25 to give the 65 new crew members a feel of what opening day would be like. The only difference from a normal business day was that 100% of the sales at the Friends and Family event—$4,154.33 in total—were donated to Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach.  Crew members then visited Matt Talbot on February 26th to tour the facility and learn about the services offered at the Community Kitchen & Outreach Center.

The Lincoln franchise was opened in 2006 by Justin & Jennifer Jones, who moved to Nebraska from Baton Rouge, LA. Since opening their first location, they have set out to make a change in their community by becoming active community leaders and providing great job opportunities.
