Registration Open for Survivors Rising Run2End Violence 5K Run & 1-Mile Fun Walk

Join Survivors Rising (survivorsrising.org) for the 2nd annual Run2End Violence 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk, to be held on October 14th. It is one of several events planned for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and will be held at Millers Landing, 151 Freedom Park Road in Omaha. Check in begins at 8:00 a.m., with the race/walk to start at 9:00 a.m.

A post-race gathering will include refreshments and awards! This is a timed race and medals will be awarded to the first and second place finishers in all events. Age Categories: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Registration for this event is open now through October 12th, and can be completed online at: secure.getmeregistered.com. Entry fee is $25 through September 30, and $30 from October 1-12. Cost includes event admission and t-shirt. Packet pick-up will be held at Peak Performance at 519 North 78th St. on October 13th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
