St Monica’s is excited to announce that they recently set the foundation for the garden area at their new Outdoor Education Center.  Staff from Community CROPS and volunteers from Church of the Holy Trinity teamed up with St. Monica’s staff and volunteers to create raised beds and butterfly-friendly plantings. This new garden and Outdoor Education Center, located at St. Monica’s Project Mother & Child home and Early Childhood Center, will be a great space for kids and adults alike to connect one-on-one with nature.

In their 50th year of serving the Lincoln community, St. Monica’s provides treatment services for women and families who are struggling with substance abuse, mental health issues and trauma. Last year, the agency served more than 350 women through inpatient and outpatient services at seven facilities.  St. Monica’s Project Mother & Child is Lincoln’s only facility where moms can bring their children to live with them during treatment, while enhancing their parenting and relationship skills.  For more information about St. Monica’s, please visit www.stmonicas.com or contact Rebecca Roberts at (402) 441-3768 or rroberts@stmonicas.com.
