Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is working this summer to connect Elders to the community with a little help from a guitar or two. Tabitha is pleased to announce its first outdoor concert series, Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays, to be held the second Tuesday of August and September on Tabitha’s main campus in the heart of Lincoln’s Witherbee Neighborhood.

Community members are invited to join Tabitha’s Lincoln campus residents for this free, family-friendly event. The Brad Kusak Trio, a polka band, will take the stage on August 13th, and The Lightning Bugs, a popular jazz group with big band flair, will perform on September 10th.  Music begins at 7 p.m. on Tabitha’s east lawn near the corner of 48th and Randolph Streets. Free popcorn and lemonade will be available during the concert. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

As a nonprofit organization serving 28 Nebraska counties, Tabitha’s love embraces a society where everyone is valued and empowered to live life to the fullest, with compassionate at-home support, innovative living communities, exceptional rehabilitation, health care and hospice services.
