The American Heart Association’s Lincoln Heart Ball will be held Saturday, February 16th from 6-11 pm at The Cornhusker Hotel on 333 S. 13th St.

The American Heart Association’s Lincoln Heart Ball provides vital funds that support our mission to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The money raised at this event funds local American Heart Association research, development and community outreach programs.

The evening will celebrate our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and – most importantly – the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. Plan to join our Heart Ball Chairs, Fred and Rosemary Ohles, Nebraska Wesleyan University.

In the past five years (2008-2012) the American Heart Association has funded 29 new research studies in Nebraska at a cost over $4 million. This included 6 studies at a cost over $1.3 million at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
