Clyde Malone Community Center Announces New Interim COO Kimberly Goins

The Clyde Malone Community Center (www.malonecenter.org) Board of Directors announces the hiring of Kimberly Goins as the interim Chief Operating Officer. Goins will oversee the day to day operations, including administrative and fiscal management of the center and work alongside the Board of Directors to construct an enhanced vision to better serve the ever-changing needs of the surrounding community.

Goins brings to the position over a decade of comprehensive experience working with national nonprofits, Inc. 500 and early stage companies in operations, marketing, fundraising and community engagement.

Having relocated to Lincoln from Dallas, Texas, Goins is the recipient of the Who’s Who in Black Dallas – “Rising Star” award and African-American Chamber of Commerce “Young Professional of the Year” award. She was a finalist for “Marketer of the Year” from the American Marketing Association and is a graduate of Leadership Tyler Class 20.

Goins attended LeTourneau University in Texas. She is married to Anthony Goins; they are the proud parents of four children and three grandchildren.

The Malone Community Center mission is to honor and strengthen the African American community in Lincoln and Lancaster County by serving as a cornerstone for educational, cultural, and advocacy programs for all people.
