Steve McGinnis, senior account executive at Nebraska Printing Center, was elected president of the East Lincoln Business Association for 2014 during the March ELBA board meeting.

Sherri Stock, owner of inMotion Auto Care was named vice president; Tim Kirkpatrick, co-owner of Office Interiors and Design, was re-elected treasurer; Jana McGuire, senior project manager for CMA Consulting in Kansas City, was re-elected secretary.

Elected to the board in March were Cara Dolberg, sales associate with Best Card, Craig Kerr, Shelter Insurance agency owner, and Melissa Wheeler, Farm Bureau Financial Services agency owner. Other board members include Jacquie Hirschman, director of sales at Hyatt Place and owner of Husker Promotions, and Jeremiah Tripp, operations manager at Computer Hardware Inc.

Launched in 2010, ELBA is a growing network of people from across the city dedicated to enhancing the business climate of east Lincoln through networking, promotion and representation. Lunch meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at Hillcrest Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Speakers include local, county and state officials and representatives from various organizations. ELBA plans socials with local businesses and other business associations, and recently hosted its first-annual BaconfEAST fundraiser for the Food Bank of Lincoln.
