Immanuel Adds Three to Leadership Team

Immanuel (www.immanuel.com), Nebraska’s leader in senior living, is pleased to welcome three new additions to its leadership team: Julie Kaminski, Jennifer Knecht, and Colleen Maciejewski.

Julie Kaminski

Julie Kaminski joins Immanuel as senior vice president and chief operating officer. In her role, Kaminski will provide strategic leadership and direction for all Immanuel services spanning a two-state region including Omaha, Lincoln, Des Moines and Council Bluffs.

With a master’s degree in gerontological studies and nursing home administrative license, Kaminski has held leadership positions at LeadingAge Nebraska, Notre Dame Housing and Life Care Services. Her passion for seniors and service led her to participate as an adjunct instructor on aging and business at University of Nebraska-Omaha and Midland University. She has served on numerous aging committees including Advancing Excellence LANE, DHHS Advisory Board, the Medicaid Advisory Assistance Council, The Dreamweaver Foundation and Scripps Gerontology Center Alumni Advisory Board.

Jennifer Knecht joins Immanuel as vice president of marketing and communications. In her role, Knecht will lead Immanuel’s overarching marketing and communication efforts in the same area.

Knecht comes to Immanuel with extensive marketing experience with a senior services and healthcare background. Her resume ranges from local health care organizations, to tech companies, to marketing and advertising community pillars where she has held prominent leadership positions in growing brand awareness and overall positioning. Knecht’s expertise brings a mix of traditional marketing and innovative emerging tools.

Colleen Maciejewski - Immanuel - Headshot

Colleen Maciejewski

Colleen Maciejewski joins Immanuel as vice president of information technology. In her role, Maciejewski will further establish Immanuel’s information technology initiatives by providing leadership and expertise for innovative systems.

Maciejewski comes to Immanuel with an extensive information technology and leadership background. Through her executive positions at some of the area’s most prominent business leaders, Maciejewski gained expertise in IT and business transformation, entrepreneurship, program development, brand creation, mentoring, non-profit management, organization design and facilitation. She is a current board member for the Institute for Career Advancement Needs, and is involved in other philanthropic activities. Maciejewski is a graduate of ICAN’s Influence and Defining Leadership programs, and previously earned an MBA from UNO, with an undergraduate degree from UNL.
