The Lied Center for Performing Arts congratulates Assistant Ticket Office Manager Cheri Beery on her retirement after many wonderful years of service to Nebraska’s Home for the Arts.  Beery began her career with the Lied Center in 1989, just prior to its inaugural season. Beery says her favorite memories of her time at the Lied Center all revolve around great people – those who have worked in the ticket office and other parts of the Lied Center, and the patrons she has met throughout the years. She plans to kick off her retirement with a trip to Hawaii, and her short term plans include completing renovations to her home and getting ready for the holidays.

The Lied Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. The Lied Center, opened in 1990, is Nebraska’s “Home for the Arts.” The facility offers major regional, national and international events designed to attract, entertain and inspire a statewide audience. The Lied Center and its programs are made possible through the generous 2013/2014 season support of Christina Hixson and the Lied Foundation Trust, Friends of Lied, Ameritas and Union Bank.
