Lincoln Orthopaedic Center (LOC) is proud to announce Derek Engelbart as their new Surgery Center Director. Derek joined LOC in May 2012 as the Surgery Center Director. In this role he manages LOC’s two suite surgery center, its staff and operations.
Derek grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Northeast High School before attending Concordia University in Seward, NE where he was a member of the men’s basketball team and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication.
Prior to returning to Lincoln in 2009, Derek spent several years in St. Louis, Missouri where he developed a sales career in the medical and healthcare industry while coaching high school basketball. Most recently Derek worked as a Territory Manager in the Durable Medical Equipment arena, where he established valuable relationships with many of the area’s top medical professionals.
LOC is dedicated to providing expert orthopaedic care for individuals and athletes of all ages, in and around Lincoln. LOC surgery center is located at 6900 A Street.
