Peace Studio Architects Expands Team

Peace Studio Architects (peacestudioarch.com) has announced that Ilja Sanio and Corby Renard have joined the Lincoln-based firm as project coordinators. Both attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and have Master’s Degrees in Architecture. Renard earned his Master’s at UNL, while Sanio attended UNL and received his Master’s at University at Hannover, Germany.

Sanio has 11 years of experience working at Lincoln-based architecture firms. He specializes in schematic design and design development. Previous work includes projects in housing, educational, office/retail, and planning in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Renard has 10 years of experience in architecture at Nebraska-based architectural and construction firms. He specializes in project management and sustainable design solutions to fulfill customer needs.

Additionally, the company announced that Will Ehrman, a Nebraska native, will be returning for his third summer as an intern at the firm. Ehrman is studying architecture at the University of Kansas and is expected to graduate with a Masters in Architecture in 2018.

Gill and Samantha Peace opened Peace Studio Architects in September of 2013. Gill is a licensed architect with over 25 years’ experience designing award-winning projects across the Midwest. In just under four years, the firm has taken on projects in Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas. The company has grown by leaps and bounds and continues to design some of the region’s most innovative and eye-catching architectural projects.
