The Stepping Stones ( www.lmep.com/ssf.aspx) for Families Program has announced the hiring of Brenda Wray as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Brenda will conduct alcohol and drug evaluations and provide outpatient counseling and treatment services, including interim services for those waiting for a higher level of care.
Brenda received her degree in Human Services from Southeast Community College. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice through Peru State College.
Stepping Stones for Families is a licensed Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Center. For individuals without insurance, fees are assessed on a sliding fee scale. All individuals are welcome and pregnant women and/or IV drug users are given priority admission. Stepping Stones for Families advocates for families by connecting them with resources, meeting basic needs, and offering support and services for those struggling with substance abuse.
