Tabitha, your Answer for Elder Care, recently hosted over 300 employees at its annual LIVE Celebration on May 8 at HiMark Golf Course. Employees enjoyed a connection hour, photo booths and dinner.  The event celebrated Tabitha employee successes for 2013.

Debra Hauder, continuum navigator, was honored for 40 years of service; Teri Musser, social worker, for 35 years of service; and Dana Murray, admissions/MDS team leader, Linda Sabatka, communications supervisor, and Darrell Sievert, vice president of information technology, were honored for 30 years of service. Nearly 70 others were recognized for their 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5 years of service to Tabitha.

April Ostransky, facility services assistant, received the LIVE Well Lifestyle award in recognition of her commitment to healthy living and encouraging other team members to do the same. Gloria Asch, printing and copy coordinator, Stacy Clark, continuum navigator, Jackie Sterns, RN, and Nancy Wheeler, visiting nurse, were named the LIVE2Succeed award winners for each of their respective regions, while Kimmara Hughes, administrative assistant, was named the overall winner.

Pastor David Sites, Tabitha director of pastoral care, was presented a letter from Bishop Brian Maas of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congratulating him on the 40th anniversary of his ordination.
Evelyn Strong, LPN team leader, was recognized as the 2013 Employee of the Year. Strong’s supervisor, Sandra Hovis, director of nursing, noted her superb customer service and love for Tabitha.
