The Arbors, a Legacy Memory Care Community, is proud to announce that they have promoted Kelly Olson as the new Director of Nursing at The Arbors.
Kelly received her LPN from Kaplan University while working full-time with a two-year old. She lives in Omaha but feels the commute is worth it. She says that her desire to work for the Legacy Retirement Communities began while her grandfather lived at the Legacy Terrace. In Kelly’s words, “My grandfather loved living at the Legacy Terrace and I trusted him completely. I will honor him by leading the Arbors’ nursing team in constantly providing our residents the respectful care they deserve.”
The Legacy Retirement Communities have a high internal promotion rate, according to Mr. Joyce. “We encourage a long-term commitment from our employees to our residents through qualified internal promotion. In doing so, we are privileged to have many employees who have been a part of the Legacy team for the 15 years we’ve been in service. Congratulations to Kelly!”
