Union Bank & Trust Officer Nate Wieting Earns CPA Distinction

Union Bank & Trust (www.ubt.com) announces that Nate Wieting earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation after successfully completing the CPA exam, the required professional ethics exam, and accumulating the necessary experience in the accounting industry. Wieting serves as a Trust Officer in the bank’s Personal Trust & Wealth Management department.

The CPA examination is administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to ensure only qualified individuals become CPAs.

Wieting started with Union Bank in 2007 and has nine years of industry experience as an accountant, tax analyst, and assistant trust officer before holding his current position. His responsibilities include assisting clients with all aspects of trust and estate administration. A University of Nebraska – Lincoln graduate, Wieting holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy and is a 2013 graduate of Union Bank & Trust’s Leadership Development Program. Wieting serves on the Milkworks board and as Treasurer of the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska.
